Ruth Aluvisia is a Civil Engineer specialising in geotechnical engineering, structural design, and project execution, and serves as Technical Director at Bimura Construct Limited. She provides the strategic and technical leadership that underpins how the company plans, designs, and builds ;ensuring every project rests on sound engineering principles from the ground up."Understanding what lies beneath a structure is as important as the structure itself. Geotechnical insight at the earliest stage of a project is where risk is managed and value is created." Ruth's geotechnical background gives Bimura a distinctive edge: the ability to investigate and interpret soil behaviour and foundation performance before a single column is cast. This translates directly into minimised structural risk, optimised foundation design, and smarter cost decisions at every stage of development ; from site investigation through to handover.She is also currently pursuing an Msc in structural engineering.
